Mr Ole Andre Bråten is a expert on crisis communication and security culture. He is a researcher, practitioner and academic author in the field of corporate crisis management. He holds a M. Phil degree in Work- and Organizational Psychology from the University of Oslo, and is a graduate from The Norwegian Police University College and The Norwegian Army Military Police Academy, were he graduated with honours. His work on security issues is published in both Scandinavian (Cappelen Damm Academic Press) and leading international publishers (Routledge & Wiley-Blackwell).
Mr Bråten is a former Assistant professor and Police Superintendent at the Norwegian Police University College – teaching on ethics and working with R&D – developing national training programs. Prior to his career in Law Enforcement Mr Bråten served at the Supreme Headquarters Allied Powers Europe (SHAPE, NATO) and with the United Nations, the later in peacekeeping operation in South-Lebanon at the Syrian border.
Mr Bråten has excentsive experience in implementing new digital tools – and digital transformation, from the corporate (local) to the national level, as well as a trusted advisor for large corporations, from development to execution. He knows first hand how vital communication is to deliver value and create a shared vision. One project he remembers was implementing the TETRA-network in Norway.
